Customers still get a system that is straightforward to use day to day. The 4 programmable part set suites allow different arming patterns without turning the alarm into something difficult to live with.

Installers get upload and download compatibility, an 8-channel communicator interface with line monitor and a 250 event log. That makes setup, signalling and ongoing support more practical.

Designed for small professional systems

The Veritas Excel suits small commercial premises, residential installs and light commercial sites where the system needs to be simple, but the technical requirements are a little stronger.

It supports EOL or normally closed zone operation and accepts up to 6 remote keypads, either LED or LCD, giving installers practical options when designing around the property.

When the Veritas Excel makes sense

The Veritas Excel is the right choice when a smaller system needs Grade 2 compliance, event history, upload and download, ACPO compliance and anti-code reset.

If those extra compliance features are not required, the Veritas R8 Plus may be enough.
