A door contact can tell the system when a door has opened. Impaq S is there to detect physical attack on the surface before that point. That gives the system an earlier opportunity to respond when someone is trying to force a door, window or frame.

This detector is aimed at standard professional installations where Grade 2 shock detection is the right level of protection.

It can be specified on vulnerable entry points in residential, retail and light commercial environments. It is especially useful where the installer wants to strengthen the perimeter without overcomplicating the system.

The 5 selectable digital sensitivity settings give installers more control during setup. That matters because a solid timber door, a window frame and a lightweight surface will not all behave the same way under impact.

Colour options for cleaner installs

Impaq S is available in White, Brown, Anthracite Grey and Black.

That gives installers a better chance of matching the detector to the frame or finish, which is useful on visible perimeter points where customers care about the final look.

When Impaq S makes sense

Impaq S is the right choice when the site needs Grade 2 shock detection on doors, windows or frames.

If the project needs Grade 3 detection, Impaq S G3 is the stronger option. If the same point also needs opening detection in one device, Impaq SC may be a better fit.
