Capture C15

Targeted coverage, not full-room coverage

Capture C15 is for jobs where the installer wants to protect a specific line rather than the whole room.

That could be a window line, doorway, corridor approach or internal route. The narrow curtain pattern helps focus detection where movement matters, instead of watching deeper into the room where unrelated activity could create problems.

Useful around doors and glazing

Curtain detection is helpful where a standard PIR would see too much.

For example, a detector covering a window line can help protect the perimeter while avoiding movement further inside the room. That makes C15 useful in busy interiors, shared spaces and areas where the detection zone needs to be tightly controlled.

A good tool for layered protection

C15 is not designed to replace every room detector.

It works best as part of a wider detection plan, especially where door, window or route protection needs to sit alongside standard PIRs, dual technology detectors or perimeter devices.

When Capture C15 makes sense

Capture C15 is the right choice when the site needs narrow curtain detection on a wired system.

If cabling is not practical, Capture C15-W gives the same curtain-style approach with wireless placement flexibility. If the area needs full room detection, Capture P15, Q20 or D20 may be more suitable.
