Quad PIR for more confident coverage

Capture Q20 is the detector to choose when the site still suits PIR detection, but the installer wants a stronger sensing option than the P15.

The quad element pyro helps support more stable detection across suitable spaces, while the 20m by 90 degree coverage gives more reach than the standard 15m PIR option.

A good fit for larger standard rooms

Q20 works well in general internal areas where the layout is not especially difficult, but the space is larger or the installer wants extra confidence in the detection layer.

That might include offices, stock areas, larger domestic rooms, small commercial units and spaces where the system needs to feel stable after handover.

Not a cure for every environment

Capture Q20 is a stronger PIR, but it is still a PIR.

If the space has major environmental movement, temperature change, airflow issues or machinery, a dual technology detector such as Capture D20 may be the better choice. The right detector should always match the room, not just the panel.

When Capture Q20 makes sense

Capture Q20 is the right choice when the site needs Grade 2 PIR detection with more reach and quad element stability.

If the space is smaller and predictable, Capture P15 may be enough. If the location is more challenging, Capture D20 is likely to be the better fit. If cabling is not practical, Capture Q20-W provides the wireless option.
