Perimeter Detectors
Texecom perimeter detectors give installers clear options for protecting doors, windows, frames and glazing. The range includes contacts for opening detection, shock sensors for attempted attack, combined shock and contact devices, wireless micro detectors for clean retrofits, and glass break detection for sites where glazing is the risk.

Where perimeter detectors fit
Perimeter protection is about detecting the right event at the right point. A contact confirms that a door or window has opened. A shock detector responds to attack on the frame or surface. A glass break detector focuses on the glazing itself. On higher-risk openings, more than one method may be needed.
Wired products are the clean route where cable can be installed properly. Wireless products are there for takeovers, finished interiors, heritage properties, slim frames and sites where running cable would compromise the finish. The aim stays the same: protect the boundary without adding unnecessary complication.
Start with the risk. Is the concern opening, forced attack, glass break or a combination? Then choose the device that matches that risk and the installation route.
