Where motion detectors fit

Different spaces need different detection. A standard office is not a corridor. A hallway with pets is not a stockroom. A room affected by airflow, heat movement or operational activity may need a different detector from a clean residential space.

P15 suits everyday room coverage. Q20 gives a stronger quad PIR option. D20 adds dual technology for more challenging areas. C15 protects narrow routes and window lines. LR50 is built for long corridors and extended spaces. PET models are for pet-active environments. Wireless models are for sites where the best detector position is not the easiest cable route.

Do not specify by habit. Start with the room. Look at the layout, normal movement, environmental conditions, pet activity, cable route and what the detector actually needs to see.
