Security Control Systems

Texecom security control systems give installers a clear choice of alarm control panels for different site sizes, grades and installation routes. The range covers straightforward Veritas panels for smaller systems, scalable Premier Elite panels for professional Grade 2 and Grade 3 installations, and wireless or hybrid options where the building requires more flexibility.

Where control systems fit

The right panel sets the standard for the rest of the system. It defines the available zones, areas, users, event history, expansion options and connected services. Get that right early and the installation is easier to design, commission and support.

Premier Elite is the scalable platform for professional systems where areas, users, expansion and connected services matter. It supports smaller commercial and high-value residential systems through to larger multi-area environments. Veritas is the simpler route for smaller sites where the brief is straightforward and daily operation needs to stay clear.

Start with the site. Confirm the zone count, area structure, required security grade, wired or wireless device mix, and whether SmartCom, Texecom Cloud, Texecom Monitor or Texecom Connect are part of the support plan. The right panel follows from that.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of site is the Premier Elite 24 Polymer made for?

The Premier Elite 24 Polymer is made for smaller Grade 2 systems. It suits homes, apartments, small offices, shops and light commercial premises where a professional alarm system is needed, but Grade 3 compliance is not required.

How many zones can the Premier Elite 24 Polymer handle?

It has 8 onboard zones and can be expanded up to 24. That gives installers enough scope for most smaller properties without moving the customer onto a larger panel too early.

How is the Premier Elite 24 different from the Premier Elite 24 Polymer?

The main difference is the security grade. The Premier Elite 24 is the Grade 3 option and is better suited to sites where a higher level of security compliance is needed. The Premier Elite 24 Polymer is Grade 2, with a polymer housing, and is aimed more at domestic and light commercial installs where Grade 2 is the right fit.

Can the Premier Elite 24 Polymer be managed remotely?

Yes, when it is connected through SmartCom or SmartCom 4G. Installers can use Texecom Cloud for remote diagnostics, upload and download, and system management. The panel also works with Wintex Software for programming, commissioning and backup.

What if the site needs Grade 3 or more than 24 zones?

If the site needs Grade 3 compliance, the standard Premier Elite 24 is likely to be the better fit. If the system needs more than 24 zones, it would make sense to look at a larger Premier Elite panel, such as the Premier Elite 48, 88, 168 or 640.
