Capture P15

The everyday PIR choice

Capture P15 is the detector to use when the site needs standard internal motion detection and the room does not have unusual environmental challenges.

It works well in general rooms, offices, small commercial spaces, residential interiors and other predictable areas where a clean Grade 2 PIR is the right level of protection.

Designed for repeatable installs

The value of Capture P15 is consistency.

Installers need a detector that can be specified again and again across typical internal spaces. With 15m by 90 degree coverage and a 1.5m to 3m mounting height, it gives a practical coverage profile for common wall mount positions.

PetWise where appropriate

Capture P15 includes optional PetWise mode, which can be useful on suitable residential installs.

That said, pet tolerant setup is not a shortcut. If the customer has active pets, stair access, climbable furniture or heat sources in the protected area, the installer still needs to choose the detector position carefully or consider a dedicated pet tolerant model.

When Capture P15 makes sense

Capture P15 is the right choice for standard Grade 2 PIR coverage in typical indoor spaces.

If the site needs more stable quad PIR detection, Capture Q20 may be a better fit. If the environment is more challenging, Capture D20 gives dual technology detection. If cabling is not practical, Capture P15-W is the wireless version.
