Quad PIR with wireless placement freedom

Capture Q20-W is useful where the installer wants quad PIR detection but does not want the cable route to decide the detector position.

This matters on retrofits, extensions and finished interiors. The right detector location may be clean from a detection point of view, but painful from a wiring point of view. Q20-W helps solve that gap.

A stronger wireless PIR option

Q20-W gives installers a step up from basic wireless PIR detection.

It is useful in standard internal spaces where a quad element PIR is preferred, but where dual technology is not necessary. That makes it a practical choice for premium residential upgrades, offices and light commercial sites with suitable environments.

Wireless does not fix bad positioning

Ricochet wireless mesh technology gives installers more placement flexibility, but detector basics still apply.

Avoid aiming at heat sources, unstable air movement and poor crossing patterns. A wireless detector still needs to be mounted where it can perform properly.

When Capture Q20-W makes sense

Capture Q20-W is the right choice when the site needs wireless quad PIR detection.

If the area is smaller and straightforward, Capture P15-W may be enough. If the space is more challenging, Capture D20-W may be a better fit. If the area has pets, Capture PET-W should be considered.
