Premier Elite External iProx Coil allows the proximity tag to be presented externally, while Premier Elite iProx handles the control and system integration.

It improves the entry flow without adding unnecessary hardware.

Built for natural user movement

The coil should be positioned where tag presentation makes sense.

That might be beside a front door, outside a shutter, near a controlled entry point or at a location where the user naturally pauses before entering.

If the read point feels awkward, the system will not be used properly. Placement matters.

Works with iProx, not on its own

The External iProx Coil is not a stand-alone access controller.

It connects to Premier Elite iProx as the external proximity coil option. iProx provides the control, configuration and system behaviour.

For external disarming

The key use case is external disarming.

It lets the user disarm the alarm system before entering the protected area. That can reduce pressure at the entry point and make the system easier to operate for authorised users.

When Premier Elite External iProx Coil makes sense

Use Premier Elite External iProx Coil when the site needs an external proximity read point connected to iProx.

If the door needs full single door access control, specify Premier Elite iProx. If the read point needs to sit outside, add the External iProx Coil.
