Odyssey XBE
Odyssey X-BE is a Grade 2 wired external sounder with backlight support.
It is designed for installations where the site needs active external signalling and a more visible branded finish, but does not require the Grade 3 Odyssey X-B specification.
With a 109dB piezo sounder, wall and cover tamper, engineer hold-off mode and alternating white LED indication, Odyssey X-BE gives installers the Grade 2 wired backlit option in the Odyssey X range.

Odyssey XBE

Odyssey X-BE is for sites where the external sounder needs to be active and visible.
The backlit format supports a stronger brand presence on the building while keeping the sounder’s main purpose clear: external alarm signalling.
Built for wired installs
When the cable route is available, a wired sounder keeps the installation direct.
Odyssey X-BE gives installers that wired approach with Grade 2 Class IV certification and the service benefits of engineer hold-off mode.
Use it where branding matters
The backlit option is useful on commercial frontages, installer-branded systems and customer-facing external elevations.
If branding is not part of the job, Odyssey X-E may be the simpler Grade 2 wired option.
When Odyssey X-BE makes sense
Use Odyssey X-BE when the site needs a wired Grade 2 external sounder with backlight support.
If Grade 3 is required, choose Odyssey X-B. If backlighting is not required, choose Odyssey X-E.
