Odyssey XE
Odyssey X-E is a Grade 2 wired external sounder for sites that need Odyssey X signalling without the Grade 3 specification.
It is built for professional installations where a wired sounder is the right approach and the project requires reliable external warning, tamper protection and service control at Grade 2.
With a 109dB piezo sounder, wall and cover tamper, engineer hold-off mode and alternating white LED indication, Odyssey X-E gives installers a direct wired option for everyday external signalling.

Odyssey XE
Wired Grade 2 sounder for professional installs
Odyssey X-E is for jobs where the site needs an active wired sounder, but Grade 3 is not required.
It gives installers the core Odyssey X benefits: strong audible warning, tamper protection, engineer hold-off and cover compatibility, without specifying above the site requirement.
Direct and serviceable
Wired sounders are still the right answer when the cable route is available.
They keep the install direct and avoid battery-led service planning. Odyssey X-E gives installers that route for Grade 2 Class IV applications.
Visible alarm signalling
The 109dB piezo sounder and alternating white LED indication provide audible and visual warning when the system activates.
It is straightforward. It works as the external signalling point on a properly designed system.
When Odyssey X-E makes sense
Use Odyssey X-E when the project needs a wired Grade 2 Odyssey X sounder.
If Grade 3 is required, choose Odyssey X. If backlighting is needed, choose Odyssey X-BE. If cabling is not practical, choose Odyssey X-W.
