Where access control fits
Not every site needs a full access control platform. Some need one door managed correctly. That could be a staff entrance, stockroom, plant room, office door, shutter, gate-side point or shared access route.
Premier Elite iProx is the controller. It can work in Network Mode with the Premier Elite panel network, or in Stand-alone Mode as a simple single door controller with up to 10 proximity tags stored locally.
Premier Elite External iProx Coil is the outside read point used with iProx. It is there when the tag needs to be presented before the user enters the protected area. The coil does not work on its own. iProx handles the control.
