Where external detectors fit
Outdoor detection needs more control than internal detection. The environment changes constantly. Sunlight, rain, heat, plants, animals, vehicles, reflections and public movement all affect how the detector behaves.
Premier External TD is the wired option where fixed power and a clean cable route are available. Premier External TD-W is the wireless option for takeovers, finished properties and difficult external routes. Both need correct mounting, range setting and commissioning.
Use the lowest practical range that covers the target area. More range is not better if it exposes the detector to movement outside the area you need to protect.
